Police: Mom's Not Happy; After Hours at the Park

Tuesday, July 14

At 9:08 p.m., police talked to a young boy walking in the park near the Dane Street Beach. The boy said he was waiting for a friend who never showed up and that he didn’t have a cell phone. Police brought the boy back home, where his mother was not pleased that he was out without permission.

At 11:43 p.m, police dispersed several cars full of people from Lynch Park and Hospital Point. Four cars were asked to skedaddle from Lynch Park and five cars were given the heave-ho from Hospital Point.

July 15

1:28 p.m., someone called police to report that there were several dogs in a car on River Street. When police arrived, the dogs were no longer in the car.
