Police: Porta-Potty Abuse; Stolen Bike

At 6:31 p.m., a manhole cover was open on Bridge Street. It was replaced.

At 11:15 p.m., there was a report of a group of youths being loud on Simon Street. The youths were on their way when police arrived. Police spoke with the offenders, who they stated were not pleasant.

Monday, July 27

At 7:19 a.m., a child’s bicycle was reported stolen from a garage on Glidden Street.

At 11:37 a.m., there was a report of men hitting a porta-potty on McPherson Drive.

At 1:42 p.m., there was a complaint about a vehicle parked in the crosswalk on Davis Street.

At 3:05 p.m., a man was throwing garbage around in a yard on Elliot Street. He was told to clean up the mess and move along.

At 3:34 p.m., two weapons were turned into the police station for destruction.
