Police: Shoplifting Arrest; Assault Arrest

Renee Bennett-Scialdone, 51, of 20 Highland Avenue in Beverly was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a police officer.

Allison O’Donnell, 33, of 6 Clifton Avenue in Beverly was arrested and charged with four counts of shoplifting and possession of a Class C drug.

Tuesday, Dec. 15

At 5:10 p.m., there was a report of possible illegal dumping near mailboxes on Kennel Hill Drive.

At 6:24 p.m., there was a report of a female crouched in the bushes on Longmeadow Road. No one was found in the area.

At 7:50 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Mason Street.

At 11:53 p.m., there was a larceny from a motor vehicle reported on Cabot Street.

Wednesday, Dec. 16

At 9:38 a.m., the manager of a store on Dodge Street caught a woman trying to shoplift. It was discovered that she had also shoplifted from several other stores in the plaza.

At 11:45 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Cabot Street.
