Police: Stolen Laptop; Burnt Food

Monday, Dec. 28

At 4:16 p.m., a laptop was stolen from a vehicle on Hayes Avenue.

At 4:52 p.m., a mountain bike was reported stolen on Rantoul Street.

At 5:35 p.m., there was a complaint about a motorcycle that had been parked for months on Lovett Street. The owner agreed to move it.

At 6:12 p.m., there was a report of a vehicle illegally dumping in a wooded area near Trask Street.

At 11:56 p.m., there was a report of a man yelling on Essex Street. The man left the apartment before police arrived and a woman there said there were no problems.

Tuesday, Dec. 29

At 9:08 a.m., burnt food at an apartment on Sohier Road set off a smoke alarm.

At 10:25 a.m., there was a report of a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on Cressy Street.

At 10:44 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Rantoul Street.

At 11:09 a.m., a package was reported stolen on Folly Pond Road.
