Police: Woman Camped on Beach Jumps Into Water to Elude Officers; Woman Swears at Officer After She is Cited For Impeded Operation; Narcotics Found

Friday, April 10
At 5:31 p.m., vehicle on sidewalk on Rantoul Street and West Dane Street. Vehicle tagged.
At 6:58 p.m., traffic enforcement on Cabot Street and Essex Street. Woman cited for failed motor vehicle inspection, impeded driving (talked on a cellphone and was unaware that cruiser with lights and siren was directly behind her). Driver was argumentative and began swearing at officer. Woman reportedly told officer to ****- off and another derogatory name after officer gave her a citation.

Saturday, April 11
At 1:08 a.m., loud party on Hale Street. Group dispersed.

At 3:16 p.m., motor vehicle accident with personal injury on Essex Street.
At 5:14 p.m., neighbor dispute on Chestnut Street. Ongoing neighborhood dispute. Both parties agreed to ignore the other. Peace restored.
At 5:41 p.m., narcotics found on Marsh Avenue.
At 8:16 p.m., suspicious activity on Pine Road. Missing lawn chair.
Sunday, April 12
At 10:25 a.m., report of a person(s) camped on the beach for days in West Street area. Woman was confrontational, but was sent on her way. However, she never left the property, which displays a “no trespassing” sign. Officers approached the woman for a second time, and she fled into the ocean and onto nearby rocks on the Manchester border. Officers disposed of her property and Manchester Police were notified. The woman had been recently arrested for several offenses. Woman had been accompanied by an unidentified man. He was unable to be located.
At 11:58 a.m., report of a deer struck at Grover Street and Dodge Street.
At 12:26 p.m., report of a truck driving on the beach in area of Lothrop Street. Truck driver told officers that he drove down to the beach to remove a large piece of lead debris from the surf. The debris was removed, and appeared to be a sailboat ballast.
At 1:45 p.m., vandalism on Park Street. Damage to ventilation ducts appeared to be vandalism, not an attempted break.
At 5:31 p.m., motor vehicle stop on Essex Street and Parramatta Road. Officer observed a motorist make a left turn onto Parramatta Road from Essex Street. He was on his cell phone, yelling at someone on the sidewalk. The motorist also failed to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. Citation was issued for impeded operation and crosswalk violation.
