Police: Woman Throws Rocks at Friend's Window to Get Her to Pay Debt; Two People Rescued From Stuck Elevator at Beverly High School; Minor Crash on Spring Street

At 6:20 p.m., suspicious activity on Cabot Street and Federal Street. Fluids running into a storm drain. Man cleaned his offices, and dumped out his soapy water. No hazard.

At 11:24 p.m., suspicious activity in building at Rantoul Street and Fayette Street. Strong odor of marijuana.

Wednesday, April 15

At 6:33 a.m., disturbance on Rantoul Street. Female throwing rocks at window. Party claims that a friend owes her money and she wants it paid back. Officer advised her to go through the courts, and not to throw rocks at her friend’s window. Officer advised friend to pay debts.

At 10:57 a.m., assist citizens at Beverly High School on Sohier Road. Two people stuck in an elevator at roof level. Assisted Beverly Fire Department and school building engineer in freeing the two people from the elevator. Elevator company contacted. Elevator placed out of service.

At 2:32 p.m., assist citizen on Spring Street and Colon Street. Minor motor vehicle accident. No injuries.
