Police: Yelling in a Taxi; Car Accidents

Monday, Sept. 7

At 9:57 p.m., there was a report of a suspicious man using a flashlight to look into a car in a driveway on Yankee Way.

Tuesday, Sept. 8

At 1:08 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident in a parking lot on Herrick Street.

At 6:39 a.m., there was a report of a transformer arcing on Cabot Street.

At 8:21 a.m., there was a report of a possible garage fire on Rantoul Street.

At 10:27 a.m., a delivery truck was blocking the entrance to the library. Police determined there was still room for people to enter and exit and that the delivery would be finished within minutes.

At 12:04 p.m., there was a report of a larceny from a purse on Monument Square.

At 2:31 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Colon Street.

At 3 p.m., there was a report of men yelling in a taxi on Dodge Street.
