Police: Youths on Bikes; Open Container Arrest

Wednesday, August 19

At 4:58 p.m., there was a hit and run accident with property damage on Bridge Street.

At 7:12 p.m., a Virginia Avenue resident reported an ID theft by phone.

At 7:18 p.m., there was a report of a panhandler annoying customers on Rantoul Street.

At 8:20 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident that turned into a reported road rage incident on Essex Street.

At 10:57 p.m., there was a report of youths on a bike harassing a resident on Beckford Street. The youths were dispersed.

Thursday, August 20

At 12:58 a.m., there was a domestic assault reported on Folly Pond Road.

At 9:07 a.m., there was a report of a possible fight on Mill Street. There was no issue, just two people talking loud.

At 12:32 p.m., there was a reported breaking and entering into a truck on Cabot Street.

At 3:24 p.m., police arrested Lance Stirling Mckie, 45, homeless and charged him with a violation of the city’s open container of alcohol ordinance.
