Police:Disorderly Conduct Arrest; Assisting with Murder Investigation

Andrew J. Carbone Jr., 51, of 4 Ober Street in Beverly was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Francisco Anton Garcia, 19, of 20 Blaine Avenue in Beverly was arrested on a warrant.

Tuesday, Jan. 26

At 6 p.m., a police officer was struck by a car on Enon Street.

At 10:06 p.m., there was a report of a possible fight on Elliott Street. It was determined to be people moving furniture and not a fight.

At 10:56 p.m., police assisted the State Police with the investigation of a homicide that took place in Peabody. State Police forced entry into a residence on Cabot Street when they feared there might be more victims inside when no one answered the door. There was no one inside and the residents returned home shortly after.

Wednesday, Jan. 27

At 3:43 a.m., there was a report of vandalism on Kernwood Avenue.

At 8:13 a.m., there was a report of an assault at Park and West Dane Streets.

At 12:39 p.m., a small fire at a construction site on Elliott Street was extinguished by the workers.

At 1:57 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Dodge Street.

At 2:53 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Hale Street.
