Curated by Ethan Berry, the third Pop Up installment with focus on historic and contemporary Cinema. The gallery will be transformed into a movie theater and screenings will be held throughout the week (schedule TBD). Berry teaches film and photography at Montserrat College of Art and recently returned from a sabbatical where he worked on several films and founded a film collective in Boston.
Montserrat Gallery’s Pop-Ups is a series of “pop-up” exhibitions, a short term event format that has gained in popularity in recent years. Designed to bring people together and known for their energetic atmosphere. Every week features a new theme and a range of related events and a closing reception.
