Public Meeting to Address Transportation Projects
Public input invited at Sept. 17 forum on Bridge Street and intersection projects.
There are some major road and transportation projects in the works for Beverly, and next week the city will be looking for public input on them.
The City is seeking State and Federal funding for two separate transportation improvement projects: reconstruction of Bridge Street and traffic and safety enhancements at three critical intersections (Henry’s Intersection, Cabot and Rantoul at Salem/Beverly Bridge, and McKay at Balch), according to Mayor Mike Cahill.
The public meeting, with the assistance from WorldTech Engineering, seeks to collect public input relative to each of these projects. The meeting will take place Thursday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at City Hall.
