Red Sox, iRobot Will Honor Beverly Teacher In Pre-Game Ceremony

From iRobot: Beverly’s very own Kasey Henderson will be honored in a special Red Sox pre-game ceremony on Tuesday, July 16.

Kasey is one of four Massachusetts teachers who are being recognized by Bedford-based iRobot and the Red Sox for their exemplary work in educating and exciting students about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects.

Each teacher was nominated by their students and is being recognized for going the extra mile to make their classroom interactive and fun – a place that students want to be and learn.

Below is a quote from one of Kasey Henderson’s students about what makes her such a special teacher.

“I like STEM because every day we do something new. I also like it because I get to spend time with my favorite teacher. It is the best thing to do in school. It is so fun, sometimes I don’t want to leave!”
