Salem Woman Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges

A Beverly Police investigation which targeted the sale of Oxycodone in the city netted the arrests of two men and a woman who were arrested on drug trafficking charges.

The investigation took place over a two-month period in Beverly and included an undercover purchase of 210 Oxycodone pills valued at $2100.00. At the time of the arrest, Detectives seized a significant amount of Oxycodone.

Ronald Rosario Macaluso, 66, of Stoneham; Laura Muccini 51, of Salem; and Michael Stanger, 57, no residence available; were arrested on Thursday on charges of trafficking and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Macaluso was additionally charged with possession of cocaine following an investigation.

Also seized was an amount of cocaine, three cell-phones, and cash believed to be drug proceeds. Sgt. Detective David Faustino, Detective Dana Nicholson, Detective Darlene Prinz, members of the patrol division, and Manchester Police Lt. Todd Fitzgerald assisted in the investigation and subsequent arrest.
