Bradshaw is a composer of local renown whose compositions have been heard in Lincoln Center and at the Kennedy Center’s International VSA Festival. His commissions include the New England String Ensemble Musical Heritage Initiative, the American String Teachers Association with NSOA, and the opera “.Gabriel” commissioned by the Australian Trumpet Guild and performed courtesy of Opera Australia and the AOBO. Says Bradshaw “The Waring composer-in-residence program and cantata project exemplify the school’s dedication to experiential learning. Although, for more than two decades, I have had the pleasure of working with educators and students creating a wide array of artistic works inspired by curricular activities, never has the work been so intrinsically connected to the greater educational experience across subject and grade level as this cantata. “
