Senior Health Info Session Colonial Gardens

Right at Home Boston and North recently participated in a panel discussion hosted by Colonial Gardens Gracious Retirement Living in Beverly, Massachusetts. The free event was held on Tuesday, December 5th from 7:00 PM – 8 :00 PM. A total of twenty residents and adult children attended the informational session.

This program aimed at providing information to seniors and family members; whether they need information now or needed the information later to assist with creating a plan for the future.

Panel discussion members included: Celeste Begley Community Relations Director from Right at Home Boston and North; Karen Oliver, Area Sales Manager from Encompass Home Health and Charles Balanoff, a licensed insurance broker.

Right at Home provides customized in-home care services including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, homemaking, and supportive services to keep seniors safe, independent and healthy in their homes. Services are uniquely tailored to clients needs. Celeste, answered questions from participants regarding home care service options available to them at Colonial Gardens as well as ways to fund home care.

Encompass Home Health brings home health and hospice services to patients and families. Karen discussed ways of how they work with teaching seniors to independently manage chronic health conditions and how they provide sensitive end-of-life services and counseling.

Charles is a licensed Insurance Producer in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. In addition, he serves as president of Eldercare Advantage in Groveland, Massachusetts. His areas of practice include life insurance, long-term care insurance, annuities as they apply to Medicaid and Veterans Administration planning, IRA’s and retirement income. Charles focused on answering questions regarding Veterans Administration and planning.
