
Several veteans recently told the City Council that they object to a rainbow flag flying next to the United Staes flag next to City Hall.
The flag was put up for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month in June.
Pride Month, as it is called, came to an end on Sunday, marked with events in cities across the country, including locally in Salem.
