Silent Witness Project On Display At Beverly Commons Thursday
The 27-piece display is to raise awareness about victims of domestic violence.
BEVERLY, MA — Twenty-seven full-sized red wooden figures on Beverly Commons Thursday are designed to raise awareness for the lives lost across the state from domestic violence.
The Silent Witness Project will be on display from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with each of the 26 figures bearing the name of a person whose life ended violently from a spouse, ex-partner or family member.
A 27th figure represents those uncounted deaths that were unresolved because they were ruled accidental.
