Snow Day? Come play at Wenham Museum

The Wenham Museum warmly welcomes all Beverly students to our winter themed exhibits today.

Visit the Family Discover Gallery to learn about Olympic traditions, maps and flags. Play some winter sports scaled down for inside the gallery and design your own Olympic mascot.

Make tracks to see the Snow Train to Bakersville, a G-gauge holiday model train layout where Snoopy and the gang skate across a tiny pond, old-fashioned cars fill the gas-lit streets, and tiny clothes pin people cheerfully visit throughout the snow-covered village as the train clatters by.  And don't forget to visit our room full of trains in the Bennett E Merry gallery.

Will you be wearing wool socks or woolen mittens today?   In our Three Bags Full exhibit, we explore the versatility of wool, from cobwebby shawls to tough twill for military uniforms, tweed jackets to superfine dress fabric– woven, knitted, crocheted and felted – wool can do it all.

The Wenham Museum is located at 132 Main Street in Wenham.
Hours: 10 am to 4 pm
Admission: $6 children, $8 adults, Always free for members.
