
St. Hilaire Campaign Facebook Page Surpasses 500 “Likes”
Most “Liked” Facebook Page of any candidate in Beverly
BEVERLY, MA – Matt St. Hilaire, a Beverly native and candidate for City Council At-Large, announced today that his campaign’s Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/votesthilaire) has surpassed the 500 “Like” milestone.

“It’s very exciting to see my campaign gaining momentum and more and more supporters engaging with me through social media.” St. Hilaire said. “The voters of Beverly are responding to my message and recognize that we need a new generation of leaders at City Hall who have the experience to move Beverly forward.”
In less than two months St. Hilaire’s Facebook Page has become the most “Liked” Facebook Page of any candidate in the race for City Council At-Large and with nearly 600 Likes it is now the most “Liked” Facebook Page among all of Beverly’s local elected officials and candidates.

“We are at a critical crossroad in Beverly and I believe my experience sets me apart from other candidates in this race.” St. Hilaire said. “My background working in the Governor’s Office, working in leadership roles at the highest levels of the Massachusetts political arena and working in the private sector, will enable me to lead and get things done for Beverly.”
St. Hilaire, 36, is a graduate of Beverly High School’s class of 1995 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Villanova University in 1999. He is married to Beverly native Elizabeth (Dunn) St. Hilaire and together they have three young children. St. Hilaire served Governor’s Paul Cellucci and Jane Swift at the State House and has held leadership positions with a number of high profile political campaigns. He is currently employed as a Recruiter and Social Media Manager in the private sector.

By leveraging this technology we can increase transparency and citizen engagement in our local government.” St. Hilaire said. “As City Councilor I will reach out to the people of Beverly to collaborate with them and seek their input and ideas on how to best move Beverly forward.”
