
St. Hilaire Campaign Surging into Election Day
City Council candidate's web video goes viral
BEVERLY, MA – Matt St. Hilaire, a Beverly native and candidate for City Council At-Large, announced today that the web video his campaign recently launched has been viewed on YouTube more than 1,200 times in the past 3 days. The video can be viewed on his website www.MattStHilaire.com. St. Hilaire's campaign has also seen a surge in social media activity and financial contributions over the final stretch leading up to Election Day.

“It's exciting to see the surge in momentum towards my campaign as we head into Election Day." St. Hilaire said. "The voters of Beverly recognize that this is a critical election and that I have the experience we need on the City Council."
St. Hilaire's campaign has heavily utilized social media and his campaign Facebook Page has gained more than 1,100 "Likes", far outpacing any other candidate in Beverly since launching in June.

“I've been a leader is utilizing technology to communicate and engage the people of Beverly throughout this campaign." St. Hilaire said. "Social media has changed the way people receive and share information and I'll take the same approach as City Councilor."
St. Hilaire, 36, is a graduate of Beverly High School’s class of 1995 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Villanova University in 1999. He is married to Beverly native Elizabeth (Dunn) St. Hilaire and together they have three young children. St. Hilaire served in the Governor’s Office at the State House and has held leadership positions with a number of high profile political campaigns. He is currently employed as a Recruiter and Social Media Manager in the private sector.
Campaign Finance reports filed with the City Clerk's office indicate that the campaign raised $10,530.00 joining City Council President Paul Guanci as the only City Council candidates to raise more than $10,000 in 2013.
