“We are proud to support the YMCA of the North Shore to help make a meaningful impact in our communities,” said Jennifer Brogan, Director of Community Relations, Stop & Shop. “We hope our support will assist families in putting food on the table while ensuring children can stay active and have fun at camp.”
Partnering with the Stop & Shop at 37 Enon Street in Beverly, an assortment of bottled water, juice and individual packed snacks including pretzels, cheese and crackers, etc., were donated to the YMCA camps across the North Shore, including Salem, Haverhill, Gloucester and Beverly, which serve upwards of 800 children daily. As many as one in every two children rely on Y financial assistance to access camp in these communities.
