Snow Emergency Parking Ban, Public Schools Closed on Monday

Municipal Offices will open at noon on Monday, Feb. 2. Trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day.

Snow Emergency Parking Ban will go into effect on Monday, February 2nd at 8:00 a.m.

The ban will be in effect for at least 24 hours. There will be no parking allowed on any municipal streets. Violators shall be subjected to ticketing and/or towing. Municipal lots are available for those who have no other accommodations; meter fees must be paid during normal meter hours.The MBTA is allowing Beverly residents to park in the new parking garage during a parking ban. There is a $5.00 fee, pay at the kiosk.Short term parking downtown will be allowed during business hours. Overnight parking will not be allowed.

BEVERLY PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY.

Trash and recycling collection will be delayed a day beginning on Monday, February 2nd. Treat the week as if Monday was a holiday. JRM has notified that City that if your trash and recycling are not out when they come by, they WILL NOT RETURN for the pick-up.

  • Pond Street (at American Legion/Spear Post)
  • Briscoe St/Hale St (across from Central Fire Station)

  • Chapman Street and Federal Street (behind Family Dollar)
  • MBTA Parking Garage on Rantoul Street (reduced rate during parking ban)

Please remove any basketball hoops from the street as they could be destroyed by the heavy equipment that we will need for this storm.
