StreamLine Communities to market Elliott Landing by Cummings

Prominent residential real estate marketing firm and Cummings Properties join forces

Cummings Properties has selected StreamLine Communities, one of the region’s top residential real estate marketing firms, to offer Elliott Landing by Cummings, its luxury residences overlooking Bass River at the Cummings Center campus.

Elliott Landing is expected to welcome its first homeowners this fall. It will consist of 73 contemporary residences. Current plans are for seven one-bedroom homes, 60 two-bedroom homes, and six three-bedroom homes, all with high-end finishes and upscale appointments.

While Cummings’ primary focus has long been commercial real estate, it also manages two large senior living communities with more than 500 residents, and developed and marketed the 147-unit Place Lane condominium in Woburn in the late 1980s.

Residential real estate, however, has changed significantly since then, according to Cummings Properties president and CEO Dennis Clarke.

“StreamLine has vast experience with multi-unit residential real estate and extensive knowledge of the current market,” Clarke said. “In addition, StreamLine’s customer-service focus will guide buyers through the sales and building process, leading to more satisfied residents and building an engaged community before the first resident moves in.”

Vibrant cities like Beverly, with burgeoning cultural, arts, and restaurant scenes are very attractive to buyers, according to Thomas Skahen, StreamLine Communities founder and CEO. He added that buyers are looking for low-maintenance new construction that offers the convenience of a walkable environment and nearby amenities combined with an historic and scenic locale.

“Elliott Landing represents a great opportunity for StreamLine,” Skahen said. “We are building a relationship with Cummings, while working on a project in an increasingly popular segment of residential development: urban, active adult.”

In business for more than 13 years, Skahen and his team are licensed in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. StreamLine has marketed and sold more than 4,200 new homes, including homes in local developments, such as Ipswich River Point, Heritage Woods at Lynnfield, Strongwater Crossing in Salem, and Wakefield Crossing.

“One of Cummings Properties’ strengths is our diverse in-house capabilities from management to design, construction, marketing, and sales,” said Clarke. “We have the experience to realize, however, when adding an outside expert will yield a better result. We believe that Tom Skahen and the StreamLine team have the expertise required to present Elliott Landing in its best light.”
