Strict Conditions On Release Of Beverly Man In Sexting Case
Brian Orlandella, 46, of Beverly, is accused of sending lewd messages and pictures to an underage girl.

BEVERLY, MA -- The probation officer accused of sending lewd messages and images to a 13-year-old girl in Texas poses a flight risk and a risk to the community, according to U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Donald Cabell. As a result, Brian Orlandella, 46, of Beverly, had conditions put in place when he was released from custody Thursday. Orlandella will need to live with his parents in Saugus, wear a GPS bracelet and be home between the hours of 7 pm and 7 am. He also cannot have contact with anyone under the age of 16.
The Department of Homeland Security arrested Orlandella on Dec. 4 following an investigation. According to court documents, Orlandella admitted to investigators that he used the messaging app Kik to send the messages to the girl, and that he may have sent messages to other underage girls.
Orlandella was released on $50,000 bond. He has been on unpaid leave from his $95,000-per-year job as a probation officer in Lynn District Court since he was arrested.
