Suspect Arrested in TD Bank Robbery

Eric Hill was arrested at his father's house in Beverly on New Year's Day.

Beverly, MA - A Beverly man was arrested at his father’s house in Beverly on New Year’s Day on Friday in connection with an unarmed bank robbery earlier in the week at TD Bank in North Beverly.

Eric William Hill, 36, was arrested on a warrant out of Salem District Court in connection with the warrant.

Beverly police identified Hill as the suspect in unarmed robbery shortly after it happened on Wednesday, Dec. 30.

At approximately 3:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Beverly Police received a panic alarm call from the TD Bank branch at 55 Dodge Street. Officers as well as members of the Beverly Police Criminal Investigations Division responded to the bank and learned that a white male approximately 5’9” inches , wearing a blue and red patriots pullover, presented a note demanding money from a teller. No weapon was used.

The man then left on foot in unknown direction, with an undisclosed amount of money. Surveillance videos provided by the bank aided in the identification of the robbery suspect.
