The holidays are a wonderful time of year; except when they’re not.
For many people, the holidays can be a time filled with stress, guilt and sadness. In a society that equates an abundance of “stuff” with caring, it is hard if that is not a reality. Thanks to all of our generous supporters in the Greater Beverly community, we were able to help many families and individuals have better holidays and to feel valued.
Because of our donors, we distributed close to 500 Thanksgiving meals to those in need of a holiday meal. During December, 677 children received gifts through our Adopt-a-Family program. The number of events, whether it was silent auctions, company raffles or family holiday parties, held to benefit Beverly Bootstraps was simply amazing. Additionally, the response to our annual appeal has once again been wonderful and is one of the major ways we are able to continue to be able to provide services to those in need.

Whether by hosting a food drive or toy drive, giving financial gifts, donating to the Thrift Shop, shopping for presents for a family, donating food, volunteering to help sort food, prepare food bags, organize gifts or help distribute them, the individuals, companies, and foundations that give holiday support, as well as support throughout the year, deserve our heartfelt thanks!
With an abundance of gratitude,
