THE BLOCK is here - it's been a long 11 months!!

2 BLOCK parties were held last summer.  The chance to listen to live music, enjoy refreshments and catch up with friends all in the setting of a summer evening was a huge hit with the community!  The demand for more was strong!  And we heard you!  So, 2014 will bring 3 BLOCK parties! 

Fast forward through a long 11 months of planning (for the committee) and waiting eagerly (for the attendees) and it's finally here - the July edition of this super fun street party!  (Sat. July 12)

It'll be all the stuff you love - diverse bands, and local street food.  BUT, the biggest change is that there is no longer a "drinking corral".  Remember how it was always a tough choice between grabbing a drink at the far end, or watching the stage at the opposite end?  But, never both?  Well, not this year!  The entire whole block will be enclosed, and people and drinks can travel anywhere within.  As long as reasonable behavior is maintained, this freedom will remain granted.  Ya-hoo!  Thank you, powers that be!

So come, have fun!  It's going to be a blast again.
