"THE BLOCK" party held downtown in July was such an overwhelming success, that we're hosting a second party! And it's this Saturday evening from 5:30 - 9:30p! Same place, same time, NEW bands!
ROCK - The rumors are true! See the legendary Barrence Whitfield from 5:30-6:45pm. Barrence is a full-throttle soul screamer in the spirit of Little Richard, Wilson Pickett and Solomon Burke and the winner of seven Boston music awards. He's been described as the owner of one incredible pair of lungs, with limitless energy and unmatched enthusiasm for his music and his audience. Barrence is back in Beverly and in high demand, but he made time to kick off the party for us at 5:30. Then he will be followed by Froggy and the Friendship at 7:15pm and Sound Association at 8:45pm.
