Time For Pencils, Time For Books

Beverly students will be heading back to class a little sooner than some of their fellow students on the North Shore.

The first day of school for students in grades 1 through 12 is Tuesday, Sept. 1.

That day will also see the orientation for full-day and half-day kindergarten students.

Full-day kindergarten students begin their classes on Wednesday, Sept. 2, while half-day kindergarten students have their first day on Thursday, Sept. 3.

The students will be able to slowly ease back into the learning groove, as they will have Friday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 7 off for Labor Day.
