Today's Homecoming Week Activities

It promises to be a busy day in Beverly, as there’s an array of Homecoming Week events on the schedule.

The second day of action in the 43rd Annual City Adult Tennis Tournament takes place at the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be a Red Cross blood drive at the Elks Lodge on Bow Street.

The Welcome Home Veterans Social takes place at Lynch Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It promises to be an afternoon of music, food, and activities for the whole family, with lots of veterans’ information available from over 40 vendors.

There will be free food and parking for veterans and their families.

The Lou Tompkins All-Star Baseball League Final Four Tournament is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cooney Athletic Field.

The First Parish Church will be holding Sanctuary Tours from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Girdler House will have an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Finally, the Mardi Block Party takes place on Cabot Street from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
