Tom Brady Visit Thrills Beverly Cheerleader Battling Cancer

A young Beverly girl battling cancer and her cheerleading squad got a special surprise during a visit to Gillette Stadium to meet Patriots cheerleaders.

Beverly cheerleaders, including Riley Fessenden, who is battling a rare form of cancer, got a thrill this weekend during a visit to Gillette Stadium.

In a video posted by WHDH-TV, it shows 6-year-old Fessenden wearing a blue and pink headband that says "Fight Like a Girl."

Fessenden and other Beverly Panthers-Titans Cheerleaders earned a trip to Gillette to meet Patriots Cheerleaders by being one of the top five fundraisers in New England for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The team raised over $17,000.

During a mock press conference during the visit, Star quarterback Tom Brady came into the room with an autographed football. He also delivered a personalized No. 12 jersey.
