Traffic, Parking Restrictions In Beverly For Funeral

The funeral for Endicott College President Richard Wylie begins at 11 am on Thursday.

BEVERLY, MA -- Beverly Police are implementing traffic and parking restrictions on Thursday between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm for the funeral for Endicott College President Richard Wylie, who died Saturday. Wylie's funeral is scheduled for 11 am Thursday at St. Mary's Church on Cabot Street.

Traffic will be detoured around Cabot Street near the church, as police are expecting dozens of cars to line up for the funeral procession. While detail officers will be allowing traffic to flow in alternating directions in one lane on Cabot Street until the funeral, drivers are being advised to seek alternate routes.

Beginning at 8 am on Thursday, no parking will be allowed on either side of Cabot Street between Federal and Pond Streets.
