Two Injured In Beverly Nursing Home Fire
The fire was reported at 3:20 a.m. Sunday and forced the evacuation of some of the residents of Blueberry Hill.

BEVERLY, MA -- Two residents of a Beverly nursing home were treated for smoke inhalation at Beverly Hospital following a fire Sunday morning. Investigators believe an electrical problem with a wall-mounted heating unit in a residents' room started the fire at the Blueberry Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Facility 75 Brimbal Avenue.
According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, the Beverly Fire Department responded to the call at 3:20 am Sunday and the sprinkler system activated automatically. Residents in the wing where the fire started were evacuated but allowed to return to their rooms by 6 am. The two people who were treated for smoke inhalation were reportedly in good condition Monday.
