“We’ve seen an enormous increase in the number of patients in need,” said Jane Woodbury, vice president of fund development for VNA Care Network & Hospice in a news release. “We are grateful to our North Shore Community Cabinet volunteers, guests, auction donors, and corporate sponsors for helping us make a difference in the lives of people facing COPD, cardiac disease, diabetes, and many other health concerns.”
Charitable gifts also enable VNA Care Network & Hospice to develop new programs like behavioral health, purchase technology and equipment, and provide state-of-the-art training for staff.
The evening featured music by Just In Time and pianistNathan Johnson. Dance demonstrations in salsa, waltz, rhumba, and cha-cha inspired guests to get on the dance floor, where they received informal lessons from the evening’s performers.
The third annual spring benefit for VNA Care Network & Hospice was supported by Gold Sponsors, Byram Healthcare, Mutual of America and TD Bank, and Silver Sponsors, the Institution for Savings and Ropes & Gray. Bronze Sponsors are Donald E. Kowalski, DDS; Mohr Partners; National Grand Bank; and Windstream. Friends were Melick & Porter, LLP;Salem Five; and Senior Helpers.
