Warning Issued for Dog Off Leash in Cemetery
Police tell woman that letting a dog run free in a cemetery is not the best idea.

Cemeteries seem like they should be near the top of that list.
On Tuesday, July 14, Beverly Police got a complaint from a man who said a woman had her dog off the leash at the Central Cemetery off Butman Street.

The man said the dog was urinating and defecating near grave stones, according to police.
The woman was still at the cemetery when police arrived. An officer who spoke to the woman advised her that dogs are prohibited from cemeteries, as it can be disrespectful at a place where people come to visit their loved ones.
