"I think this was a perfect choice for you."
Mimnaj said she liked that Miller started on the piano "but still stayed true to the genre that we are doing tonight."
"I think it was a perfect choice given the circumstances."
Everything seemed to be going right for Miller, with the fans blowing her hair.
"Your voice really did sound amazing."
Miller really shines when she does her original music or Colton Dixon songs and Minaj hopes to hear that next week.
Randy Jackson
Jackson knows that Miller would like to make an album like Evanescene or "somewhere in that zone."
"I think that is where you voice really lives," and she can be as theatrical and dramatic as possible.
"I think it was a great choice for you and you did an amazing job on it," he said. "The note at the end was stellar."
He liked the "tender moments" on the piano.
"It's hard to choose because this is rock week"...and it is not the "wheelhouse" of the Top 7.
Mariah Carey
Carey said it is important that performers choose the right song and make a rock song their own and "make it Angie or whoever is singing it."
"This was you."
Carey said she liked that Miller started on the piano and worried when she got up from the piano.
"I really appreciated this song and you, I thought it was a perfect match."
Keith Urban
"Angie I love your voice, I've loved it right since the beginning."
Urban liked her singing and piano playing.
"I love a lot of what you do"
Urban wants to make sure Miller "feels" the song when she sings it.
"If you feel yourself in a song and lose yourself in that song, and not be conscious about how you look, you have the ability to lose yourself in the song way more and you have the ability to do that."
