Why are the Parking Ban Lights Flashing on Tuesday?
The snow ban parking lights are flashing all over Beverly on Tuesday even though there is no snowstorm predicted and there is no parking ban in place.
Don't worry, there's no snow in the forecast.
The blue parking ban lights at key intersection all around Beverly are on Tuesday as part of an effort to "shed light" on World Autism Awareness Day, which is April 2.
The effort can be seen across the region. Salem also has its snow ban lights on Tuesday. Places all across the country are lighting up blue on Tuesday, including the Empire State building on Tuesday night.
