Woman Arrested For Drunk Driving After Crashing into a Rest Stop Convenience Store

This was the second Lynn woman to crash through a building in recent weeks on the North Shore.

A Lynn woman is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in Salem District Court on drunk driving charges in connection with driving her car through the front of a convenience store in Beverly, Mass., according to authorities.

Patricia Miller, 55, of Lynn, drove a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze through the front of the convenience store just before 3 Sunday afternoon, according to the Massachusetts State Police. The store is located next to the Burger King in the Route 128 rest stop area.

No one was injured as a result of the crash.

Troopers arrested Miller for operating under the influence of liquor, second offense; operating under the influence of drugs; disorderly conduct; resisting arrest; destruction of property; and furnishing a false name. She was taken to the Danvers barracks, and held on $540 bail pending her arraignment.
