CAMBRIDGE, MA — A child and an adult have been rescued from the Charles River on a Boston Duck Tours boat and are being evaluated by emergency responders, the Cambridge Fire Department said Monday morning.

Boston Duck Tours is the "only tour operator that can traverse both land and water to deliver breathtaking views all in one tour," according to its website.
The tours begin on land, driving by the State House, the Boston Common, the North End and Newbury Street, the Quincy Market Prudential Tower, and more for just over an hour before splashing into the Charles River for around 20 minutes of cruising and skyline sightseeing.
