1 Dead In Boston After Getting Stuck Under Train: Reports
The MBTA first announced just before 12:30 p.m. that there was a medical emergency at Jackson Square.
BOSTON, MA — A person is dead after falling onto Orange Line tracks in Boston and becoming stuck underneath the train Friday, according to multiple reports.
The MBTA first announced just before 12:30 p.m. that Orange Line service between North Station and Forest Hills was standing by due to a medical emergency at Jackson Square.
As of just before 2:30 p.m., shuttle busses were still being used in place of train service between Ruggles and Forest Hills.

Transit police told both WCVB and Boston.com that no foul play is suspected and they believe the person simply stumbled and fell onto the tracks. The victim was already dead when medics arrived, police added.
