24 Days of Charity: Giving With a Purpose

Christmas is the time of giving. And during the #24DaysOfCharity, all you need to do is have $10, and Flutter will do the rest during the #24DaysOfCharity.

The #24DaysOfCharity starts Dec. 1 and runs through Dec. 24. Every day a new charity will be featured, and people can make a $10 donation to any or all of the charities. The donation amount is a staple of Flutter, the online charity platform which helps create awesome experiences for the donors. The idea is that everyone should be able to equally afford the experience of giving, and can be entered into winning a unique prize.

In this case, a $10 donation enters you to win a weeklong vacation in Australia, courtesy of Zambrero. You can also win dinner for two at Del Frisco's in Boston's Seaport District and an overnight stay at The Westin Boston Waterfront.

The featured charity for Dec. 8 is Lovin' Spoonfuls. "Lovin’ Spoonfuls is dedicated to facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded." You can find out more about Lovin' Spoonfuls here.

The Australia trip will include airfare, seven nights of accommodations in Brisbane and Sydney, Australia, free food at Zambrero, and experiencing a Zambrero/Stop Hunger Now meal packaging event.

The winners will be announced Christmas Day.

You can also gift a donation to someone you know, entering that person into the raffle. You also win yourself more chances by getting people to donate through a unique URL provided to you after donating.

Flutter was co-founded by Tom O'Keefe, the Boston social media personality known as BostonTweet, a Twitter handle with over 215,000 followers. Flutter is meant to afford everyone the opportunity to give to a great charity while earning the chance to win a fantastic prize.

Zambrero is a healthy quick-service restaurant franchise and humanitarian enterprise rallying against world hunger through its Plate 4 Plate initiative. For every burrito or bowl you purchase at Zambrero, a meal is donated to someone in need.
