5 Places To Celebrate Cinco De Mayo In Boston
Here are five things you might consider checking out this weekend, including the Boston taco festival.

BOSTON, MA — Cinco de Mayo. It's a Mexican holiday that many associate with tacos and margaritas - and may be more popular in the US than actually in Mexico. Still, many see it as an opportunity to celebrate Mexican Cuisine, and if that's you, stop what you're doing and head downtown to City Hall Plaza.
That's where the first Boston Taco Festival is happening til 10 p.m. today.
The event kicked off on Boston City Hall Plaza Saturday, but continue until Sunday night at 10. p.m. Festival organizers reported they've already sold around 7,000 online tickets, and that's not counting those $15 tickets sold on the plaza. Included in the festival events are live music, lucha libre wrestling and a taco eating contest.

Tiki Rock margaritas and chimichanga dumplings.

Tiki Rock may be Polynesian-inspired bar but it is teaming up with Cayman Jack, a handcrafted cocktail, to hand out complimentary pairings of prepared margaritas and limited edition chimichanga dumplings—a really cool mashup of Asian and Mexican cuisine—between 5 - 9 p.m. on Saturday.
