These Are The Roads Closed For The 2026 Boston Marathon

BOSTON, MA — The Boston Marathon is rounding the corner of arrival for its 130th year. As the region prepares for its Staple Patriots Day celebration, many roadways will be closed to allow the main event to take place.

According to the Mayor Michelle Wu, the following Boston streets will have some form of a “no stopping” restriction for vehicles on Monday, April 20:

• Cleveland Circle
• Columbus Avenue

• Washington Street: Wellesley Line to Auburn Street
• Commonwealth Avenue: Auburn Street to the Boston Line
• Commonwealth Avenue Carriage Lane: Washington Street to the Boston Line
• All Feeder Streets Along Race Route: Within 60 feet of the Marathon Route
