BOSTON, MA — A custom golf fitter is set to open a new location in Boston this month.
Club Champion is set to debut its Downtown Boston location at the 125 High Street Building, expanding its footprint in the region as demand for custom golf club fitting continues to grow.
Founded in 2010, Club Champion has built a reputation as a leading expert in golf club fitting, helping players of all skill levels optimize performance through custom-built equipment. The company was established by fitter and builder Nick Sherburne.
The business offers more than 65,000 hittable head and shaft combinations, according to its website.
Club Champion now employs more than 220 team members and operates hundreds of locations across North America, as well as in the United Kingdom and Australia, according to its website. In Massachusetts, the company already has fitting studios in Bedford, Needham, Northborough, and Hanover.
“We went from a Chicagoland staple to a flourishing brand because we saw the huge difference fitted equipment can make in a golfer’s game and we’re making that improvement available to everyone through our expansion to markets across the U.S.,” said former CEO Joe Lee.
While the business has not yet announced when the new location will open, it said it will open soon. Google's listing said it's open Monday, Apr. 27.
