Mental Health Collaborative (MHC), a nonprofit advancing mental health education, has been named a 2026 community partner of the Boston Red Sox Foundation’s Change Up the Conversation initiative.
At a time when youth mental health challenges are rising nationwide, partnerships like Change Up the Conversation support organizations advancing mental health and wellness, with a focus on reducing stigma and increasing understanding of mental health.
Mental Health Collaborative provides evidence-based programs to improve mental health literacy, helping individuals and communities recognize early signs of mental health concerns and seek support. MHC works in schools, communities, and organizations to strengthen the systems that support youth through a preventative and sustainable approach.
“Too often, people don’t know how to recognize the early signs of mental health challenges or what to do next,” said Abbie Rosenberg, Founder and CEO of Mental Health Collaborative. “With this support from the Boston Red Sox Foundation, we’ll continue our work to reduce stigma and increase understanding of mental health. When people know what to look for and how to respond, they are better equipped to support themselves and others.”
As one of six nonprofit partners selected for the 2026 initiative, Mental Health Collaborative will be recognized during a Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park on Wednesday, May 13 in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. Throughout the season, participating organizations will be featured through in-park experiences and social media storytelling to expand awareness and reduce stigma around mental health.
