BOSTON, MA — A fire severely damaged a home in Dorchester on Saturday but firefighters were able to protect neighboring buildings, Boston Fire officials said.
The fire was reported about 8:15 p.m. at a home on Treadway Road and became a three-alarm fire, the Boston Fire Department said.
"Firefighters had fire on all 3 floors, the fire burned through the roof," the fire department said on X.
There were no injuries reported.
The firefighters attacked the blaze from both the outside of the house and the interior, fire officials said, and had the fire knocked down in about 20 minutes.
Photos and videos posted by the fire department showed the extent of the flames and the damage.
