BOSTON, MA — If your idea of a perfect summer outing includes free ice cream, Ben & Jerry’s has you covered.
The ice cream company is bringing its Great Summer Bar Drop to Boston June 20 through June 22, complete with free samples of its new Ice Cream Bars, games, giveaways and limited-edition merch.
The roaming "Ice Cream Bar-ty" will pop up at Rose Kennedy Greenway North End Park, at Atlantic Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 20 and 21, where visitors can snag a free Ice Cream Bar while supplies last.
It continues June 22 with the Hunt for the Golden Stick-et at Boston Common, at 139 Tremont St., from noon to 5 p.m. Ben & Jerry’s says it will hide five oversized golden Ice Cream Bar sticks around the park. Find one and you win a year of free Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Bars.
The events are free and unticketed. Ben & Jerry's says you just show up, grab a treat, and join the festivities.
After Boston, the bar drop will continue in other cities across the country, including Miami, FL; Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; and New York City.
