BOSTON, MA — Boston residents near Fenway Park can expect fireworks after concerts at the ballpark Monday and Tuesday nights, according to the Boston Fire Department.
The department announced on social media that fireworks displays are planned following concerts at Fenway Park on June 22 and June 23, if the weather permits.
Monday night's concert features Mumford & Sons, with Lord Huron and Dylan Gossett also scheduled to perform. Tuesday night's show features Australian electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL, with Maribou State opening for them.
The concerts are part of the Fenway Concert Series, which brings major touring acts to the historic ballpark each summer.
Residents in Fenway, Back Bay, Mission Hill and surrounding neighborhoods may hear loud booms or see fireworks late in the evening following the concerts.
Boston Fire shared the notice to alert residents ahead of the planned displays.
