Party Bus DJ Arrested After Man Slashed In Boston

The Waltham-based DJ may get a scratch on his criminal record after this reported incident.

BOSTON, MA — A man is facing a charge after a person was slashed while attempting to break up a fight on a party bus early Monday morning in Dorchester, according to Boston Police.

Stanley Saintile, 32, of Waltham, was arrested after officers assigned to District C-6 responded at approximately 12:47 a.m. to the area of 1104 Massachusetts Ave. at South Bay Mall for a report of a person stabbed. Officers arrived to find the victim being treated by Boston EMS for an apparent laceration.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Officers were provided with a description of the suspect and began searching the surrounding area.

Police reportedly found Saintile walking through a parking lot toward Interstate 93 and saw blood on his left hand and underneath his fingernails. When officers asked about the blood, Saintile allegedly told them he had been involved in a fight.

Officers speaking with the victim were told he had been attempting to break up a fight on a party bus when the DJ, identified by police as Saintile, allegedly lunged at one of the people involved in the altercation. The victim was slashed during the altercation, according to police.

Saintile was taken into custody and is expected to be arraigned in South Boston District Court on a charge of aggravated assault and battery.
