Voices of Hope Celebrates the Music of the '60s While Funding Tomorrow's Cancer Cures!

Dig out your tie-dye, dust off your go-go boots, and get ready for a groovy night of music and memories! Voices of Hope proudly presents The Beat Goes On, a spectacular 1960s-themed fundraising gala on Saturday, October 3, 2026, celebrating the soundtrack of a generation while raising funds to help create a future free of cancer.

Inspired by a decade that changed the world, The Beat Goes On takes audiences on a magical journey through the sights, sounds, and spirit of the 1960s. From the British Invasion and Motown to folk-rock, surf rock, psychedelic sounds, and the spirit of Woodstock, this feel-good event captures the energy, optimism, and revolutionary heartbeat of an unforgettable era.

The evening begins with fundraising opportunity drawings and auction at 6:30 PM, followed by a captivating musical performance at 7:30 PM featuring the unforgettable soundtrack of a generation, the audience will be swept up with the timeless hits from some of the most influential artists of all time, including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, The Who, Elvis Presley, Peter, Paul and Mary, The Mamas & the Papas, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Bobby Darin, Petula Clark, and many more.

Guests will relive the harmonies of Motown, the excitement of the dance craze years, the revolutionary sounds of the Summer of Love, and memorable moments from Broadway, Hollywood, and television. Whether these songs were the soundtrack of your youth or you've discovered them through their timeless appeal, The Beat Goes On promises an evening filled with nostalgia, laughter, harmony, and inspiration.

60's Hits for Tomorrow's Hope

The message of the 1960s was one of hope, change, and coming together for something bigger than ourselves. That same spirit lives on through Voices of Hope.

As audiences celebrate the music that united a generation, they will also be helping fund groundbreaking cancer research. Voices of Hope is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to combining the power of the performing arts with the mission of finding better treatments and cures for cancer.

"We're celebrating a decade that inspired people to dream big, stand together, and believe they could change the world," said Voices of Hope organizers. "Every song and dance in this performance and every dollar donated helps us continue our mission to make cancer history by supporting lifesaving cancer research."
